About us
Dr Mehta was appointed as a Diagnostic and Interventional Spinal Neuroradiologist at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and holds his private practice at BMI The Meriden Coventry, BMI Three Shires Northampton, Spire Parkway Solihull and Warwickshire Nuffield Hospitals. He currently provides all aspects of diagnostic neuroimaging. He is lead for stroke and spinal interventional neuroradiology.
Dr Mehta trained in London and qualified from Guy’s Hospital, London. Following physician training and completing his MRCP he entered into Radiology and gained valuable experience in the district hospital, teaching hospital and tertiary level setting with placements at St. George’s, Atkinson Morleys, Great Ormond Street, Royal National Orthopaedic, Royal Marsden, Frimley Park, Guildford & Epsom & St Helier Hospitals. He completed his specialist neuroradiology fellowship at National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery Rotation.
Dr Mehta has special interest in minimally invasive interventional procedures of the spine. He is a specialist in vertebroplasty treatments, percutaneous and needle procedures such as aspiration and needle biopsies.
He is an experienced educator teaching at Warwick Medical School and for the West Midlands Deanery. Dr Mehta has presented research papers at national, European and American neuroradiology conferences.
