About me

Mr Al-Maiyah underwent higher surgical training in the Northern Region of England and undertook more than two years of fellowships in foot & ankle surgery and trauma/limb reconstruction surgery in Birmingham, Liverpool and Australia (Melbourne & Brisbane).

Mr Al-Maiyah is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in London, his NHS base at Croydon University Hospital.

Mr Al-Maiyah specialises in foot and ankle surgery. He has experience in all aspects of this area; treating elective and traumatic conditions. He has a large revision practice and often sees patients for a second opinion.

Mr Al-Maiyah’s surgical practice encompasses all aspects, diagnosis and treatment (operative and non-operative), of foot and ankle disorders including:

He worked in major Trauma Centres, both in the UK and Australia. He undertakes medico-legal work acting as an expert witness in various Trauma & Orthopaedic cases.
