About me
I am full-time Consultant Ophthalmologist with 20 years of experience. My specialist interest is in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital disorders and this is reflected in my NHS post at Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, a specialist referral centre for complex Oculoplastic care. This is important, because I believe when choosing a Surgeon, you should ensure they are regularly performing the treatments they recommend.
I graduated from the University of Southampton and trained in Ophthalmology in the UK. My first surgical training posts were in London before I completed my higher specialist training at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge. I undertook two Fellowships in Oculoplastic and Orbital disease before becoming a Consultant in 2013.
I pride myself on taking the time to listen to your needs and will always outline all available treatment options. I will allow you the time to ask questions to come to an informed decision and I will never recommend a treatment I do not believe is in your best interests. My reputation means I am valued for my straightforward explanations, professionalism and surgical outcomes.
