About me

I was brought up in Holywood, County Down, Northern Ireland. I trained at Edinburgh Medical School. I completed my house jobs in Scotland then returned to work at Queen's University and the City Hospital Belfast for one year. Since 1998 I have worked in the midlands with specialist training in Oswestry/Stoke, Birmingham and Coventry. I completed two upper limb fellowships in 2008, one at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary (hand and upper limb) and the other at the Melbourne Shoulder and Elbow unit, Australia.
