About me

Although trained in general orthopaedics and trauma, David specialises in lower limb surgery particularly hip and knee arthroplasty and sports injuries. He completed his Surgical Training in London (based primarily at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals) and undertook fellowship training in leading centres in both Australia (Sydney, Perth) and Europe (Switzerland).

Alongside his busy practice, he is actively involved in research and medical education; He is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons and is an educational supervisor for the Wessex Deanery. He acts as a reviewer for a number of journals (including the Bone and Joint Journal and the Knee) and is on the faculty for AO education. He has presented at numerous national and international meetings and has published articles in several leading orthopaedic journals. He is committed to providing excellence in clinical and overall patient care.
