About me
I graduated from Birmingham University Medical School in 1995 and undertook surgical training in the West Midlands. I was awarded the Thomas Wickham Jones travelling fellowship to spend 12 months working at the Royal Eye and Ear Hospital and Bionic Ear Institute in Melbourne Australia during 2007/2008. During this period I developed a subspecialist interest in ear and hearing problems. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and completed a postgraduate Masters degree at Warwick University in 2007.
I have undergone comprehensive training in the medical and surgical management of adult and children's ear, nose (allergies, blockage and sinus conditions) and throat conditions including problems with voice, snoring and swallowing.
In addition, I am able to offer a specialist service in otology (ear, hearing and balance problems) in both adults and children. I undertake all the major hearing restoration surgery including stapedectomy (for otosclerosis), ossiculoplasty, cholesteatoma surgery and bone anchored hearing aids.
