About me

I have been an Orthopaedic consultant in Cardiff since 2008. I specialise in Hip and Knee surgery. I did Orthopaedic training in Leeds and fellowship training in hip and knee surgery from the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA which is part of the Harvard Orthopaedic Program.

I currently do over 200 hip and knee replacements every year in addition to knee arthroscopy. I specialise in all aspects of hip and knee replacement surgery including computer navigated surgery, patient specific knee replacements and complex revision surgery. I also do robotic knee replacements.

Metaphyseal sleeves in Revision total knee replacement - Published in Bone and Joint Journal, 2013. This is the largest series reported in world literature on the use of metaphyseal sleeves in revision total knee replacement.

The biplanar open wedge high tibial osteotomy. J Ortho Science 2016. This paper describes a new technique for correction of knee deformities.

The use of antibiotic impregnated local antibiotic delivery in treating prosthetic joint infections - published in 2015.
