About me

Dr Adityanarayan Bhatnagar joined as a consultant clinical oncologist in 2006 and is based in Southampton. He treats patients from Southampton and Salisbury. He was the lead clinician and the MDT lead for lung cancer services at University Hospitals Southampton from 2009 till 2012. He was the chair for the radiotherapy and technical development group at the University Hospital Southampton from 2018 till 2021. He is supportive of clinical trials and is a principal investigator in a number of clinical trials.

Areas of interest

Prostate, Kidney, Bladder and and Lung cancers; Prostate cancer treatment using targeted radiotherapy (IMRT and IGRT ), MR- Linac SABR, high as well as low dose brachytherapy, bone therapy, hormone therapy and chemotherapy;
Lung cancer treatment using chemotherapy, radiotherapy, chemoradiotherapy, SABR and immunotherapy.
