About me

I did my medical degree at Cambridge University and completed my medical training with a laparoscopic fellowship in Canada. I have been a Consultant Surgeon in Leeds for over 11 years and am now the clinical lead of the colorectal unit at Leeds Teaching Hospitals.

My cancer results are amongst the best in Yorkshire (National Bowel cancer audit data - 126 resections in last 5 years - mortality 0.7%). I have specialist interests in inflammatory bowel disease and advanced pelvic cancer.

I have particular expertise in colonoscopy and the management of haemorrhoids / fissure and fistula in ano.

I regularly perform laparoscopic hernia repair with excellent outcomes
