About me
Dr Newbold is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in cancers arising in the head and neck and thyroid.
Her expertise lies in management including advanced external beam radiotherapy techniques, chemotherapy, radioiodine therapy and biological targeted agents.
Dr Newbold has particular interest in advanced thyroid cancer including iodine refractory, medullary and anaplastic.
Clinical research interests include the biology of thyroid cancer to better personalise treatments investigating liquid biopsies, targeted therapies and dosimetric approach to radioiodine.
Dr Newbold has been involved in the development of national and international guidelines on the management of thyroid cancer.
