About me
I have been a Consultant since 2007. My NHS practice is based at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
My private practice is based at Pinehill Hospital, Hitchin and One Hatfield Hospital.
I studied at the University of Manchester. I trained in Trauma & Orthopaedics on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital rotation, completing this in 2005.
In 2006 I undertook a 1 year specialist Fellowship in hip and knee replacement surgery in Auckland, New Zealand.
Interests
My specialist interests are hip and knee surgery.
I can advise you on the range of adult hip problems. I am very experienced in hip replacement surgery. This is predominantly done for wear and tear (osteoarthritis) arthritis of the hip but I also have experience in treating the rarer indications.
I treat sports injury of the hip and undertake hip arthroscopy for younger adults with femoroacetabular impingement.
I can advise you on painful or problematic hip replacements and am a high volume revision hip surgeon.
I can advise you on sporting injury and painful conditions of the knee. I undertake knee surgery including knee arthroscopy, total and partial knee replacement.
