About me
I qualified in medicine from the University of the West Indies in my home country of Trinidad and Tobago before coming to England to further my training.
I trained in East Anglia and won the Gold Medal for the Orthopaedic Specialty exam in 2004.
I fell in love with the country (and an Englishwoman!) and so have happily settled into Norfolk life. I have been a consultant Spinal Surgeon at NNUH since 2006.
I am the lead for spinal training on the East of England Orthopaedic Training Programme and an examiner for the FRCS in Trauma and Orthopaedics.
I am able to offer one Saturday spinal clinic each month as I appreciate it is not always easy for patients to come on a week day. I also consult privately every Tuesday afternoon at Spire Norwich but can occasionally offer ad hoc sessions at the Global Clinic in Norwich.
The highest recommendation that I can claim is that I am often asked to look after my colleagues and their families. This reflects their trust in my integrity and honest judgement which is paramount in medicine.
