About me

Judith qualified in dentistry from the University of Bristol in 1991, and did her medical degree at Leeds University, graduating with MBChB in 1998. Following training general surgical training in Yorkshire, (FRCS 2001), before starting her higher specialist training in the North East. She became a consultant in Warwickshire in 2006, and remains the only female maxillofacial consultant in the West Midlands deanery. She has a broad range of specialist interests across maxillofacial surgery and is pleased to maintain both her dental and medical registrations She lectures/presents both nationally and internationally and has a particular interest in medical education so can offer education and CPD for both medical and dental teams by arrangement. She is chair of her local managed clinical network for oral surgery.
Outside medicine she has a herd of alpacas, three dogs, chickens, a husband and a gardening habit! She is also a keen skier.
