Professor Mark Tagoe, B.Sc(Hons),M.Sc., FCPod(S)
Professor Mark Tagoe was appointed as a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at West Middlesex University Hospital in 1992. He leads one of the most progressive NHS Departments specialising in foot and ankle surgery. In recognition of his commitment and contribution to education, Mark Tagoe was appointed Honorary Visiting Professor to the University of Southampton. He is an international lecturer on foot and ankle pathology and innovative surgery with over 30 publications in peer reviewed journals and several book chapters. Professor Tagoe also holds an Honorary post as a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary and is a Visiting Consultant Podiatric Surgeon at the Dubai Hospital.
Past appointments include Vice Chairman of the Specialist Advisory Board (Podiatric Surgery) Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, Dean of the Faculty of Surgery of the College of Podiatrists, Regional Chair of the Southern Deanery and External Clinical Faculty Instructor to the podiatric surgical training programme, Kern Hospital USA.
