About me

I undertook my undergraduate training in Bangalore, India and then initial
Orthopaedic training at a premier institute in North India. I came to the UK in late
1993 and did my Specialist Registrar training in Glasgow, Leicester and Oxford. At
Leicester I undertook a clinical knee fellowship and then completed advanced training in knee reconstruction at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford.
During the latter part of his training I joined the Royal Air Force and underwent Officer training at the RAF College, Cranwell. I spent three years as a Honorary Orthopaedic Consultant at Peterborough Hospitals NHS Trust, reaching the rank of Wing Commander. I served in Bosnia and Iraq during the 5 years in uniform on a Short Service Commission.
