About me
Mr Aldiwani is a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in robotic (Da Vinci) kidney surgery for cancer and benign kidney conditions, and in the treatment of benign prostate enlargement and lower urinary tract symptoms. He has a recognised specialist interest in robotic kidney surgery (partial nephrectomy, nephrectomy, nephro-ureterectomy, pyeloplasty, cyst removal), including retroperitoneal techniques not widely offered by many surgeons.
He also provides comprehensive general urology care, with particular experience in the assessment and management of urological cancers, including bladder cancer and prostate cancer diagnostics. He routinely investigates haematuria and lower urinary tract symptoms, and manages a broad range of urological conditions including infections, scrotal swellings and penile conditions.
Originally from Leeds, he completed his medical degree at the University of Manchester and went on to undertake higher surgical training in London, including subspecialist training at the internationally recognised Royal Marsden Hospital. He was then selected for a prestigious Royal College of Surgeons-accredited fellowship in robotic retroperitoneal kidney surgery, focusing on robotic-assisted partial nephrectomy for kidney cancer as well as other complex kidney conditions.
Known for his attentive and personalised approach, Mr Aldiwani places strong emphasis on clear communication, shared decision-making, and high standards of evidence-based care to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
