Highly Specialist Knee Surgeon with over 20 years of personal experience dealing with complex primary and revision knee replacement surgery.
I have a special interest in sports knee injuries, ligament reconstruction (ACL / PCL) , meniscus preservation & repair, cartilage transplantation, partial (UKR) knee resurfacing procedures and the management of the elite athlete with sports knee injury.
I am the most experienced surgeon in the region the field of children's knee injury with an established reputation dealing with Adolescent Paediatric knee injuries and surgery at a dedicated children's unit in the private sector.
I lecture and teach surgical techniques on many International and National educational courses and am a regular Faculty member for Complex Knee Replacement Educational Courses worldwide.
I am a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton, involved in research in the fields of advanced electronic sensor technology and the novel treatment of infected knee implants.
