About me
Mr. Saj Wajed is a senior and experienced Consultant Upper GI and General surgeon, practicing full-time in Exeter since 2004, and an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Surgery at the University of Exeter Medical School.
He has a specialist interest in reflux disease, gallstones, hernia and laparoscopic surgery.
He is a recognised expert in these areas and is involved in pioneering surgical innovation, training, teaching and research, including being a National preceptor for the LINX procedure. He has lectured and published extensively.
His previous training and experience include Lecturer in Surgery at the Royal Free & UCL Medical School; Oesophageal Research Fellow at the Department of Foregut Surgery, University of Southern California working with Professor Tom DeMeester; and Higher Surgical Training in the London Deanery.
