About me

I am a specialist knee surgeon based in Warwickshire. I have held a consultant post at the University Hospital in Coventry since 2005. My practice covers all areas of knee surgery from simple arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, meniscal repair, meniscal transplantation, realignment osteotomy, patella stabilisation surgery, trochleoplasty and osteochondral allograft surgery through to partial knee replacement and total knee replacement (including Mako robot assisted knee replacements) and simple revision knee replacement.
I use the Zimmer Personna prosthesis for my total knee replacements and I use the Zimmer Fixed Bearing PPK prosthesis for my uni-compartmental knee replacements. For my Mako robot assisted knee replacements I use Stryker Triathlon prosthesis for my total knee replacements and Stryker Restoris prosthesis for my uni-compartmental knee replacements.
I am involved in knee research and regularly teach and train surgeons and give lectures at national + international meetings on knee surgery.
I regularly see patients referred by other specialist knee orthopaedic surgeons for second opinions of complex knee problems.
