About me
Mr. Harry Benjamin-Laing, Fellow of the European Board of Hand Surgery, is a Consultant Hand and Wrist Surgeon at Milton Keynes University Teaching Hospital. He has extensive experience in trauma and orthopaedic surgery.
He completed specialist training on the North West Mersey Rotation, gaining his CCT in 2022. He then undertook advanced fellowships at Wrightington Hospital and University College London Hospitals, specialising in complex hand and wrist procedures such as carpectomies, arthroplasties, and peripheral nerve decompressions.
Mr. Benjamin-Laing is passionate about medical education. He has published in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to textbooks, and presented at national and international conferences. He founded the Orthom8 Orthopaedic Education YouTube channel to support FRCS Orth exam candidates and trainees, and he teaches on the Royal College of Surgeons faculty. He is a graduate of the British Orthopaedic Association Future Leaders programme, has received awards including the Frostick Foundation Grant, and serves as one of the Social Media Editors for the European Journal of Hand Surgery.
Committed to patient-centred care, he combines surgical expertise, research, and education to improve outcomes in both elective and trauma-related hand and wrist surgery.
