About me

I am an established orthopaedic consultant with over 13 yrs experience of treating painful hip and knee problems. Over this period I have built on my fellowship training in lower limb joint replacement, soft tissue knee and hip resurfacing to deliver the latest developments to my patients. These include enhanced recovery, computer navigation, patient specific instrumentation and most recently robotic joint replacement.
My practice covers the full spectrum of hip and knee pathologies from sports injuries to degenerative conditions. I have extensive experience in knee arthroscopy, complex joint replacement surgery, revision hip and knee arthroplasty, peri-prosthetic fracture management and the treatment of the young high functioning joint replacement patient. My data on the National joint Registry shows excellent outcomes and low revision rates for hip replacement, hip resurfacing, knee replacement, uni-compartmental knee replacement and patello-femoral joint replacement. I am the clinical lead for orthopaedic surgery at Bradford Royal Infirmary and the clinical governance lead at the Yorkshire clinic and am an Honary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds.
