About me
I am a Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in urological cancer treatment.
After graduating from medical school in 1992 with Honours then passing the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 1995, I went on to specialist training in Clinical Oncology at Leeds, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 1998. I spent a year in clinical research as a Clinical Fellow at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, Canada between 2000/2001.
I was appointed Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Southampton in early 2002 specialising in treatment of urological cancers. I have extensive experience of advanced technical radiotherapy. I personally implemented several new programmes at the Trust including Prostate SABR, IMRT for prostate cancer and bladder cancer, low dose rate and high dose rate prostate brachytherapy programmes, and am a fundamental part of the oligometastases SABR team. I regularly treat prostate SABR patients on MR Linac.

I was a founding member and executive committee member of the British Uro-Oncology Group. I am an educational supervisor for trainees.
