About me

Mr Rudd is an ENT Surgeon based in London. He is a highly skilled General ENT Consultant with an interest in thyroid cancer, head and neck surgery, voice disorders and runs a regular paediatric ENT clinic at the Royal Free Hospital. He also regularly sees patients at Barnet and Chase Farm hospitals and is a core member of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust's Thyroid Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).

Mr. Rudd's training has been extensive, having worked across the South East, London and Oxford at renowned institutions such as Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guy's & St. Thomas's Hospitals, Evelina London, the John Radcliffe and Churchill Hospitals. He is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of ENT disorders in both paediatric and adult patients.

He completed an advanced fellowship in head and neck surgical oncology including robotic surgery at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr Rudd is an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at the University College London (UCL) Medical School taking an active role in medical student teaching as the UCL undergraduate programme lead for ENT / Head & Neck Surgery at Barnet Hospital. Throughout his career, he has contributed numerous articles to peer-reviewed scientific publications and has presented his research at both national and international conferences.

Mr. Rudd also has a passion for remote and global healthcare, having worked in Antarctica, Australia and participated in surgical outreach programs in Ghana and Nepal.

In his spare time James is a devoted father to a young family, he also enjoys running, football and tennis.
