About me
Renata Hutt is a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist based at the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford since 2001. She is a Fetal Medicine Lead and is actively involve in research. After stepping down as Clinical Director she has taken up an new role as a Theme Lead in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Medical School at University of Surrey. She has over 30 years of experience in Obstetric and Gynaecology pelvic ultrasound including 3/4D scanning.
She acts as an active preceptor for Hysteroscopic and Laparoscopic Minimal access Surgery training and for Advanced training modules in pelvic floor surgery, Obstetric ultrasound and Advanced labour ward practice.
Her special skills and interest include obstetric and gynaecology pelvic ultrasound, minimal access laparoscopic/ hysteroscopic surgery for endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding. Working closely with urologist she developed expertise in pelvic floor surgery for prolapse and incontinence.
She offers pregnancy counselling for women with miscarriages and fetal abnormalities.As a member of British Menopause Society she developed expertise in menopause and menstrual disorders management
