About me

Mr Schneiders is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon specialising in cataract, lens and retinal surgery. With more than a decade caring for patients with eye conditions and over 10,000 cataract and retinal procedures performed, he provides modern, precise and reassuringly personal care.

Care is tailored to each individual. He offers the full range of intraocular lens options (monofocal, enhanced-monofocal, EDOF, multifocal/trifocal and toric) and, for complex eyes, performs secondary, sulcus or scleral-fixated lens implantation, with iris-claw or artificial-iris reconstruction where needed. When appropriate, surgery can be performed through small-incision, droplesspathways, and same-day bilateral pathways after careful discussion of risks and benefits. For those considering vision correction beyond cataract surgery, Mr Schneiders provides refractive assessment, including phakic ICL candidacy and referral to trusted laser refractive centres.

His retinal surgery practice covers the full spectrum of vitreoretinal disease, from minor to complex cases, with treatment plans guided by detailed imaging and explained clearly at each stage so that patients know what to expect.
