About me
I am an experienced consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics with over 8 years of experience as a consultant, specializing in shoulder and elbow surgery, as well as soft tissue knee surgeries.
Having completed a fellowship under reputed surgeons in Southeast England, I have gained extensive experience in advanced surgical procedures. I have performed over 3000 surgeries around the shoulder and elbow, comprising arthroscopic and open procedures. Additionally, I have also conducted more than 1000 arthroscopies of the knee, focusing on meniscal surgery, repairs, and ligament reconstructions, achieving consistently high patient-related outcome measures.
In my NHS practice, I actively manage complex upper limb and knee sports injuries, providing comprehensive care to patients. I am also the department lead for infection control and Healthcare Associated Infections, demonstrating dedication to ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
Furthermore, I take on the role of Educational Supervisor for Orthopaedic Trainees, where I plays a crucial role in supporting the training the professional development of orthopaedic doctors.
Areas of interest
My interest encompasses both keyhole surgery of the shoulder, elbow and knee and open reconstruction techniques, including shoulder replacements. I treat patients over the age of 16. The following are some common procedures that I perform
