About me
I have been a Dermatologist since 1994, and have experience in diagnosing and treating patients with all types of skin problems, in particular, acne, psoriasis, eczema, hair and nail problems, moles and skin cancer. I treat both adults and children with skin disease, and perform minor surgical procedures to remove both benign skin lesions and skin cancers
Having trained in London at King's College Hospital, I qualified as a doctor in 1990 with distinctions in medicine, surgery and clinical pharmacology and therapeutics, and was awarded the University of London 'Silver Medal'. After completing general medical training in London and Cambridge, in 1994 I specialised in Dermatology, and trained as both Registrar and Senior Registrar in St George's Hospital, London.
I have been a Consultant Dermatologist at Warwick Hospital since 2000, where I also teach medical students and train junior dermatologists. At Warwick Hospital I am the Chairman of the Medical Staff Committee.
During my training, I developed an expertise in the pathology of the skin and hold the Diploma in Dermatopathology from the Royal College of Pathologists. As a result I have been the Treasurer for the British Society for Dermatopathology for 5 years, having been Secretary for 4 years prior to this.
