Mr Vijay Korwar is a highly experienced General and Laparoscopic Surgeon currently working at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust. His further experience includes registrar-level training in the UK, where he gained extensive exposure to various general surgery subspecialties. As an experienced consultant surgeon, Vijay excels in performing keyhole Gallbladder and Bile Duct Exploration surgery.
He has done pioneering work in the establishment of a Laparoscopic ultrasound service for Bile Duct Stones at Sandwell Hospital. He is also proficient in keyhole Total Extra Peritoneal (TEP) Groin Hernia repair and incisional Hernia repair and has special interests in Anti-Reflux and Hiatal Hernia Surgery, showcasing his dedication to innovative and patient-focused care.
