About me
Having qualified with honours from University College London in 2010, Mr Andy Jones' medical training commenced in Oxford, followed with time in Brisbane, Australia and South Wales, before completing his orthopaedic training on the very highly respected Severn Rotation. This allowed him to work for a variety of nationally and international renowned surgeons and leaders in their subspecialty field.
Andy subsequently completed fellowship training in Cardiff and was later appointed as a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in knee surgery at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
Andy specialises in all aspects of knee surgery for all ages, regularly performing partial and total knee replacements, arthroscopic (keyhole) procedures, ligament reconstruction, ACL surgery, meniscal surgery and patellofemoral (kneecap) procedure. He also has a special interest in knee preservation surgery, offering all types of osteotomy around the knee.
