About me
Mr Gerard Kelly trained in Glasgow and Edinburgh and London and then carried out a fellowship year in neuro-otology under Professor R T Ramsden in Manchester Royal Infirmary. He specialises in ENT in adult and children.
My Kelly has a special interest in otology, neuro-otology, nasal allergy and endoscopic nasal sinus surgery. He has also trained in Balloon Sinuplasty, having carried out the first such operation in Yorkshire and has significant experience in this new and exciting technique that is offered at Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital and the Spire Hospital in Leeds. He has also carried out Eustachian Tube Balloon Dilatation (Eustachian tuboplasty), one of the first surgeons in Yorkshire to do so, a very promising new treatment for Eustachian tube dysfunction.
He has been trained in endoscopic middle ear and mastoid surgery been Professor Daniele Marchioni (a world renowned endoscopic ear surgeon) and now most of the middle ear and mastoid surgeries he carries out is by this new and exciting and minimally invasive ear surgery. He is one of few surgeons in Yorkshire offering this service. He thinks that the advantages this offers are significant.
