About me

Abha Sinha is a Consultant Gynaecologist at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust, and has practiced there for the last 15 years as a Consultant Gynaecologist. She has over 25 years' experience assisting women who are suffering from a number of gynaecological conditions. She undertook her postgraduate training in the West Midlands and Cambridge and has expertise in Benign Gynaecological Problems.
Abha is an experienced surgeon, performing open surgical Hysterscopy and laparoscopic procedures. She offers a wide range of gynaecological services including the management of period problems, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, prolapse issues and menopause. She is interested in clinical governance, audit, research, and teaching, and has presented at national and international meetings.
She is the Clinical Director at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals for Gynae, Gynae-oncology and Breast services.
She provides a personal service for all of her patients, tailoring any treatment necessary to their individual needs. She prides herself on her clarity of communication with patients and providing the highest quality care in an empathetic manner. She is passionate and enthusiastic about her profession and believes in a holistic well-rounded approach and focus towards patient-centred care.
