About me
Ms Jihene El Kafsi is a Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal, General and Bariatric Surgeon specialising in conditions of the gallbladder, stomach, oesophagus and digestive system, with extensive experience in weight-loss surgery. She treats acid reflux, gallstones, achalasia and obesity, and performs procedures including reflux surgery, LINX surgery, hiatal hernia surgery, achalasia surgery, gallbladder surgery, advanced endoscopic investigations, gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy.
She trained at the University of Cambridge and UCL, with specialist surgical training in Oxford, followed by advanced fellowships in upper GI and bariatric surgery in London and New Zealand. She is an NHS Consultant at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust where she established a specialist reflux and swallowing physiology service and Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals.
