About me

Mr Yousaf is a fellowship-trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Surrey, specialising exclusively in foot and ankle surgery. He completed his orthopaedic training at leading institutions across London, Surrey, and Sussex before undertaking advanced fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery, including specialist fellowship training at Epsom and a prestigious visiting fellowship in New York, USA.

He treats patients from Surrey, London, and the surrounding regions for a wide range of adult foot and ankle conditions. His specialist interests include sports injuries, ankle ligament injuries, Achilles tendon disorders, fractures, arthritis of the foot and ankle, bunions, forefoot problems, heel pain, and complex tendon conditions.

Mr Yousaf has particular expertise in the management of ankle arthritis and offers total ankle replacement surgeryan advanced procedure performed by only a small number of specialist surgeons in the UK. He leads a consultant-led total ankle replacement service at SWLEOC, Epsom, a recognised centre of excellence for joint replacement surgery.

He offers a comprehensive range of both non-surgical and surgical treatments, including minimally invasive and keyhole techniques where appropriate, ensuring that patients receive personalised treatment plans tailored to their lifestyle, activity levels, and recovery goals.

Committed to education and training, Mr Yousaf serves as the Training Programme Director for Core Surgical Training within the London Deanery. He is also a co-supervisor for the BOFAS-accredited Foot and Ankle Fellowship Programme at Epsom and St Helier Hospital, where he helps train the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.

A full list of Mr Yousaf's research publications is available via his Google Scholar :Sohail Yousaf. These publications reflect his academic contributions to foot and ankle surgery, trauma management, and related conditions, and his ongoing commitment to advancing clinical practice.

Mr Yousaf lives locally in Surrey with his family. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with them and has a passion for cricket, often playing at his local club alongside his teenage sons.
