About me
Mr Izadi is a multi-award-winning consultant plastic surgeon based in the Midlands and an elected council member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (BAAPS), the organisation responsible for safety and standards in plastic and aesthetic surgery for patients in the UK. He is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council for Plastic Surgery. He offers safe, tailor-made and patient-focused treatment, taking pride in supporting patients throughout their journey, from decision to recovery, while striving for excellent results.
He specialises in the full remit of aesthetic surgery and is a recognised specialist nationally in both functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty surgery. He is fellowship-trained in aesthetic surgery and rhinoplasty and is a full member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS). He is also the co-Director and organiser of the UK's most prestigious facial aesthetic education course, Face, Eyes, Nose.
Mr Izadi sub-specialises in hand and peripheral nerve surgery. He completed a hand surgery fellowship at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre, a spasticity surgery fellowship at Institut de la Main in Paris, the premier hand surgery hospitals in the world, and a global hand surgery fellowship in Sierra Leone. He is a Fellow of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and a Fellow of the European Board of Hand Surgery, and has carried out several overseas charity, training and education trips with the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and British Foundation for International Reconstructive Surgery and Training (BFIRST), to Nepal and Sierra Leone, and has served on the BSSH Global Partnership Committee.
Mr Izadi is a core member of the Warwickshire Hand Surgery MDT. He specialises in minimal access carpal tunnel surgery and scarless Dupuytren's disease surgery. He is one of a small number of surgeons in the UK who regularly performs surgery for nerve pain, as well as complex nerve and tendon transfers to restore hand function.
In addition, Mr Izadi has over 18 years of experience in treating skin cancers and is a core member of the Warwickshire Skin Cancer MDT. He has treated thousands of skin lesions, including lipomas, warts, skin tags, skin cysts and suspected skin cancers. He takes great care in achieving the best possible aesthetic outcome, particularly when reconstruction is required following larger skin cancer excisions.
Mr Izadi is the education lead for plastic surgery at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire and is a member of the national committee responsible for appointing new plastic surgery training doctors. In 2022, he received the prestigious award for Best Plastic Surgery Trainer in the UK.
