About me
Sandeep Mistry has been a Consultant ENT Surgeon at Bradford Teaching Hospitals since 2018, specialising in Rhinology (nose and sinus) with a particular expertise and super-specialist experience and training in Advanced Endoscopic (minimally-invasive keyhole) Sinus Surgery and Complex Rhinoplasty. Sandeep has a specialist interest in medical technology and innovations and have pioneered an awake (local anaesthetic) office-based surgical practice which is unique to the West Yorkshire region.
Sandeep graduated in Medicine from the University of Manchester in 2007, and subsequently completed his Higher Surgical Training (CCT-UK) in Otolaryngology (ENT) in the West Yorkshire. He was selected for and completed a highly prestigious Fellowship in Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery in Brisbane, Australia. Sandeep has additional clinical experience and training in Rhinology from world-renowned institutions in USA, Canada and New Zealand.
Sandeep's current Consultant clinical practice mainly focuses upon the Nose (Rhinoplasty, Septorhinoplasty) and Sinus Surgery, although he also does continue to regularly perform general ENT (e.g., Tonsillectomy, Grommets, Laryngeal endoscopy). Sandeep manages a varying degree of complexity of cases referred from Primary care (GPs) and Secondary care (other ENT consultants). Sandeep also regularly performs awake nasal surgical office-based cases (to include Turbinate surgery, Septal surgery, and Balloon sinuplasty).
