About me
Mr Georges has completed his basic neurosurgical training at Addenbrooke's hospital in Cambridge and then he completed South Thames specialist neurosurgical training programme at Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre, ST' Georges Hospital and King's College Hospital in London. Mr Georges has obtained further training in the management of facial pain/trigeminal neuralgia, skull base surgery and spinal degenerative disorders as a senior clinical fellow at Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre in Haywards Heath. Mr Georges has worked as a consultant neurosurgeon and a senior university lecturer at Aleppo University Hospital in Syria, and he has been a consultant neurosurgeon at Sussex University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2016. Mr Georges is currently the clinical governance lead in neurosurgery and the clinical lead for the regional complex facial pain MDT. Mr Georges is a clinical supervisor for the neurosurgical trainees in Brighton and an approved trainer by the GMC. He is involved in teaching and examining medical students at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
