I am Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialised in Hip and Knee Replacements and knee Arthroscopy. I trained in Northern Ireland, Oxford and Edinburgh and held substantive consultant posts in Stoke Mandeville and Northern Ireland.

Research interests

I waslead investigator for the Beyond Compliance study on G7 cup (Zimmer/Biomet) in conjunction with other centers in the UK.

I have built up a database on Developmental Hip Dysplasia for Northern Ireland, which is used by the paediatric orthopaedic services and also for prospective research purposes.

I was involved in studying pathohistological findings from neck of femur fractures following hip resurfacing at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital in Oxford.
