About me
Mr Henry Ferguson is a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon with a specialist interest in minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery including both laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He regularly performs major and minor bowel surgery and runs a complex groin, incisional and parastomal hernia practice.
He graduated with Honours from Cardiff University, and undertook his surgical training within the West Midlands. He achieved an MD by Research from Birmingham University on the topic of Vaccine Treatments for Colorectal Cancer, and undertook a visiting surgical fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
His NHS Practice is at Warwick Hospital, where he routinely performs major bowel surgery for cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. He is also a skilled diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopist with excellent patient comfort & satisfaction scores.
