About me

Mr. Owen Heath is a gynaecological surgeon. He qualified in medicine from Guys, Kings, and St. Thomas Hospital Medical School in 2006 and continued his postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London. After his general training, he completed RCOG sub-speciality Training in Gynaecological Oncology at The Royal Marsden Hospital.

Mr. Heath was awarded a Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Fellowship to pursue a PhD to study the tumour microenvironment of ovarian cancer. He remains engaged in translational and clinical research at The Royal Marsden and The Institute of Cancer Research. He has an active research portfolio and has published on gynaecological cancer surgery and the tumour microenvironment of high-grade serous ovarian cancer. Mr. Heath is a BIARGS and SERGS accredited robotic surgeon and BSCCP accredited colposcopist.

Mr. Heaths NHS practice is at The Royal Marsden Hospital, his main clinical interests are pelvic exenterative surgery, ultra-radical gynaecological cancer surgery, robotic cancer surgery and research in ovarian cancer.

Owen Heath is married to Alice, lives in South West London and is father to three young children.
