About me
Full time consultant breast surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital, Surrey since 1999 to September 2022 and part time to September 24. I also deal with melanoma both treatment and staging. A member of the breast MDT. A member of the skin cancer MDT.
Research Lead Clinician for the Breast Unit. As a unit we actively take part in National Breast Cancer Trials, and previously participated in two International Breast Cancer Trials.
As Service Improvement Lead, I was responsible for introducing new breast reconstruction techniques to Frimley Park Hospital, namely using Acellular Dermal Matrix in breast reconstruction and Fat Transfer.
Chairman of the Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Committee.
Chairman of the Medical Records Committee.
Chairman of the Consultants Staff Committee.
I was awarded 5 Clinical Excellence Awards.
Established and Chair Mount Alvernia Breast Multidisciplinary Team, who meet on weekly bases.
Publications i took part in have attained over 900 citations. My research score is higher than 88% of Research Gate members. This resulted from taking part as a principal investigator in national and international studies.
Awarded Excellence certificates twice, based on patients' reviews.
