About me
Dr Emma Kipps is a Consultant Medical Oncologist in Breast Cancer at The Royal Marsden Hospital, Medical Director of RM Partners Cancer Alliance and NCRAS National Clinical Lead for SACT.
She completed her medical oncology training at the Royal Marsden Hospital prior to being appointed as a Consultant Medical Oncologist in Breast Cancer in 2019. Her interests are in the management of breast cancer and the use of real-world data to improve cancer outcomes.
In 2015 she worked at the Department of Health on NHS policy and strategy. She undertook training in health economics at the LSE following which she was awarded a place to study value-based health care at Harvard Business School.
Dr Kipps gained her PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research at the University of London in 2016 for research into drug resistance and the AKT pathway.
Dr Kipps is Medical Director of RM Partners Cancer Alliance which is responsible for leading the whole system planning and delivery of cancer services in West London. She is a member of various local and national committees including the UK SACT board. In 2022, she was appointed as the National NCRAS Clinical Lead for SACT and Chair of the NCRAS SACT clinical leadership group.
