About me
Ivor Vanhegan is an expert in the management of hip disorders including hip preservation, hip joint replacement and trauma. His main interests are in optimising recovery after hip joint replacement and has a specific interest in same-day discharge for hip replacements.
Mr Vanhegan has specialist knowledge on adult hip patients, with a specific interest in the management of young adults (18yrs+) with hip pain. He sees many patients that present with hip pain following sporting injuries and is proficient at treating patient with an active lifestyle through to professional sports people.
Mr Vanhegan has a strong interest in research and has contributed in both pre-clinical (laboratory) and clinical research in the development of hip replacement design.
