About me
Dr Ure Eke is a Consultant Dermatologist and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon working at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) and Solihull Hospitals since 2015. She is a qualified dermatologist with a special interest in dermatology surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery and treats skin cancers including basal cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas and melanoma as well as rare skin tumours. She regularly treats patients with general dermatology conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne and other inflammatory conditions and is committed to providing the best skin care treatments for her patients.
She graduated from University of Liverpool in 2003 with a first class honours and finished Dermatology Specialist training in the West Midlands in 2013. She completed a Mohs micrographic surgery and skin cancer fellowship in Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle in 2015. In addition to NHS work, she also practices privately in Stratum Dermatology clinics, Oxford, the Meriden Hospital, Coventry and Solihull Hospital. She has published in dermatology journals and contributed to dermatology textbooks and has presented at national and international level. She is currently Educational lead for Dermatology Resident doctors at UHCW NHS Trust and is a member of the Skin Expert Advisory Group, West Midlands Cancer Alliance. She has a passion for teaching and organises the dermatology skin surgery training day at UHCW and is a faculty member for the British Society for Dermatology Skin Surgery annual workshops.
