About me

I am a Consultant Rheumatologist with over a decade of consultant-level experience, currently based at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust one of London's leading teaching hospitals. I hold the role of Care Group Lead, reflecting my clinical leadership responsibilities across the department, including governance, quality improvement, and strategic oversight of rheumatology services.
My specialist interest is psoriatic arthritis, and I chair the multi-trust Psoriatic Arthritis MDT Panel for the NHS South-West London Integrated Care Board a regional leadership role that keeps me at the forefront of best practice in this field. I am actively involved in clinical trials, including a phase 3 NIHR-supported study run out of Oxford, ensuring my patients benefit from the latest evidence-based treatments and emerging therapies.
I treat the full breadth of rheumatological conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, ankylosing spondylitis, connective tissue diseases, osteoporosis, gout, fibromyalgia, and hypermobility disorders. I am experienced in biologic therapies and perform joint and soft tissue injections.
I hold a research doctorate (MD) from University College London and have published in peer-reviewed journals including Rheumatology, Lupus Science & Medicine, and Frontiers in Immunology, with presentations at major national and international conferences. I am committed to delivering thorough, personalised care that draws on the very latest research.
