Isaac Nyamekye graduated from University of Bristol Medical School in 1988 and trained in vascular surgery at University College London, Sheffield, and Bristol.
The thrust of his private practice is the expert management of varicose veins and associated disorders. A consultant since 2000 he has established expertise in ambulatory local anaesthetic endovenous (minimally invasive) techniques for varicose veins. These endovenous treatments including Laser, Radiofrequency, Foam sclerotherapy and Microinjection Sclerotherapy have eliminated the need for open surgery and incisions, leading to significantly improved patient reported outcomes measures (PROMS) and early return to normal activity.
Mr Nyamekye also undertakes a range of arterial vascular operations including operations for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Carotid endarterectomy, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Leg Bypass and the management of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
He is an International Trainer in endovenous procedures and has provided training to vein specialists from as far afield as Russia, China, Australia and USA.
