About me
Mr Walker has a wealth of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle disorders. Having been a Teaching Hospital specialist at Guys and St Thomas’ since 2015, he has built a significant tertiary elective practice, managing complex foot and ankle injuries as well as arthritis, neuromuscular deformities and common presentations such as bunions and toe deformities. Particular interests include ankle replacement and the revision of failing implants and Mr Walker is part of a network of UK surgeons pioneering 3D printed patient-customised implants for these challenging cases.
Mr Walker enjoys training Fellows and Registrars and convenes a highly rated Foot and Ankle Cadaveric Surgery course, as well as teaching on a number of other courses and faculties. His approach to the discipline of foot and ankle surgery is to work collaboratively with patients, to educate and empower individuals to make the decisions and lifestyle choices that will optimise their own health and wellbeing.
