About me
Mr Chris McLean is a Consultant Ophthalmologist working at The RoyaI Surrey County Hospital, The Guildford Nuffield Hospital, Mount Alvernia Hospital and the Woking Nuffield Hospital. He has had a comprehensive training in ophthalmology at London Teaching Hospitals culminating with higher training at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He has undertaken Fellowships in oculoplastic and lacrimal surgery.
Mr McLean enjoys teaching and is a trainer in cataract surgery for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He is a founder member of the British Oculoplastic Surgical Society and is a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Cataract surgery with multifocal, toric and accommodating intraocular lenses; Watery eye (lacrimal ) surgery with endonasal and external approaches; Plastic surgery around the eyes including removing lumps and bumps, entropion, ectropion and ptosis surgery; The removal of skin tumours from the eyelids and the reconstruction of the area after surgery; Blepharoplasty and brow lift surgery.
