About me

For the past 25 years since being appointed as a Consultant at University Hospitals Coventry I have developed my specialist interest in the upper limb especially shoulder and elbow surgery. My fellowship was spent as The Depuy Shoulder Fellow in the Upper Limb Unit at the Wrightington Hospital which has an extensive exposure to a wide variety of Upper Limb pathologies. Since taking up my Consultant appointment my specialist interest in the Upper Limb has continued to develop and my practise is now exclusively Upper Limb Surgery including both Elective and Trauma surgery. I have particularly developed my practise in the fields of Arthroscopic Reconstructive Surgery of the Shoulder, Shoulder and Elbow Arthroplasty including Revision Surgery and Post Traumatic Reconstructive Surgery of the Upper Limb. I have a large tertiary referral practice in all these fields. I am the immediate Past President of BESS, President 2023-25 and the former Honorary Secretary (2018-2022) and Chairman of the Research Committee of BESS 2015-18 (British Shoulder and Elbow Society) I have served as a member of the BESS Council since 2015.
