About me

Dr Chris Sawh is a consultant cardiologist at both the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Spire Norwich Hospital. He performs complex coronary intervention with stent implantation, right heart catheterisation and invasive haemodynamic studies. He uses the latest invasive and non-invasive techniques and approaches to assess and treat coronary arteries.

Dr Sawh graduated from medical school in 2002, and attained membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) whilst training as a junior doctor in Somerset and Lancashire. He commenced further specialty training in Cardiology at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. On completion of his training, he secured a competitive Interventional Fellowship in Toronto, Canada. This prestigious British Cardiovascular Society fellowship allowed him to further develop his training in complex cardiac intervention.

Dr Sawh has kept himself up-to-date through his various academic and teaching roles including being an associate professor of medicine at St George’s University, WI and has multiple publications in cardiology peer reviewed journals. He is also a trainer for coronary intervention (PCI) at Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.

He is passionate about patient centred care and believes in open discussion, informed choice and consent. He takes the time to make the correct diagnosis and ensure his patients receive accurate information to make the appropriate choices for their healthcare.

Dr Sawh has over a decade experience in managing all aspects of cardiology conditions and offer consultations covering a wide range of heart conditions.
