About me
Mr. Daniel James Moualed is experienced in all aspects of ear, nose, and throat medicine and surgery. He has a special interest and advanced training in otology (ear disorders).
Mr. Moualed studied medicine at Cambridge University. He was awarded the Whitby Scholarship during undergraduate studies, and graduated with Distinction in 2008.
In 2012 he moved to the Oxford Deanery to pursue higher surgical training in ENT. During this time he won the Royal Society of Medicine temporal bone competition, and the Oxford Deanery Parker Prize for research.
Mr. Moualed was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2018. He further developed his sub-specialty interest in complex ear surgery through the internationally renowned skull base & auditory implant fellowship in Manchester. He was appointed as substantive Consultant at the Great Western Hospital in 2019.
He is actively involved in the support, training, and assessment of junior doctors, is Education Lead for ENT at the Great Western Hospital and is on the Oxford Surgical Training Committee.
Mr. Moualed has published many academic papers as well presenting research internationally. Full academic CV is available on request.
